Finally finished my (first) commission for a Slytherin House Rulebook. Pictures posted next. The interior is able to house two dvds (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2), has a secret compartment, a back compartment, vials of assorted nasty things, two keys, a journal (guess who that used to belong to), a Slytherin House Pin, and a letter from the newly appointed head of Slytherin House.

This thing took probably about six months start to finish, with way more hiccups than I care to remember. The entire thing is bound in hardened, hand dyed, hand stamped leather. The pages are actual paper, individually cut (with a paper trimmer), glued together and placed onto the sides of the book to give it an authentic book look.

Eventually I may open up commissions for custom made false books with any number of special features from secret compartments, to scroll cases, to miniature alchemists' labs. Hopefully I will also be able to build up an inventory of basic, single dvd false books to sell at craft shows.
